Where the land ends – AquaScale at EPCN 2017

EPCN (European Pond Conservation Network) is a network dedicated to pond research and conservation, which held its 7th meeting this year in Faro, Portugal.

Our lab participated with three projects, presented by Dunja, Zsófi, and Csaba.

Dunja won a student presentation award, while at the general assembly of EPCN, Zsófi was “upgraded” from observer to steering group committee member.

We also had a chance to visit some Mediterranean temporary ponds at the southwestern tip of Europe – along with a very big pond called Atlantic.
